FULL BODY MASSAGE - SWEDISH MASSAGE OR AROMATHERAPY MASSAGE
Holistic therapeutic massage is concerned with treating you as a whole
person, both physically and psychologically. Massaging the skin has an effect on our entire body and therefore it can
have many benefits. It can alleviate muscular tiredness and pain, improve our circulation, aid digestion, relax tense
muscles and tight connective tissues, enduce relaxation and reduce our stress levels.
The Swedish massage technique undertaken at Health in Harmony
is performed with firm strokes using the application of oil. However, talcum powder can be used if you prefer.
A one hour full body treatment will include the face and scalp, but the massage can be tailored to exclude or focus on particular
areas.
Aromatherapy Massage is a therapeutic massage that employs essential oils
and is carried out using a blend of oils to suit your particular needs. The 100% pure essential oils used are extracted
from fruits, leaves, woods, resins, steam and flowers of plants and trees. This massage treatment also includes a facial
massage and the treatment time is one hour.

SCALP & FACIAL MASSAGE
Massage can help any pain originating from tension - head, back, neck
and shoulders can all benefit from massage. Even your scalp and face can feel tension, for example, through eye
strain or grinding your teeth. These treatments will target specific areas of muscular pain and tension that you may
be experiencing. Techniques to improve lymphatic flow will also be incorporated.
Releasing tightness and tension in muscles is the most obvious benefit
of a good massage, combined with soothing music and a relaxed atmosphere, you will leave Health
in Harmony with an enhanced feeling of wellbeing.
INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
This treatment is based on the ancient Ayurvedic healing system meaning
Science of Life. The Ayurvedic approach to health is to help balance the body, mind and spirit.
A lot of the stress we experience on a daily basis manifests itself in
our upper body - the shoulders, neck and head. This in turn can cause bad posture, tight knotted muscles and severe
headaches. Indian Head Massage can help restore our body to its natural equilibrium.
The massage treatment is performed with you seated on a low
back chair, fully clothed and is focused on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face. It helps to free blockages
and release tension, increases blood and lymphatic flow, removes toxins, eliminates fatigue and lethargy and is a wonderful
treatment for inducing relaxation.
If you wish to receive the treatment with Ayurvedic head oils, this can
be accommodated at no extra charge.

DEEP TISSUE MASSAGE
This massage technique focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue.
This works through slow strokes and deep finger pressure. It can help release chronic muscle strain and tension, help
prepare muscles prior to sporting activity and ease muscle ache after exertion. This treatment will help to release
toxins from the body and in addition, aid the circulation of blood and oxygen. It is extremely effective for deep muscle
relaxation.
